I've been watching SPG along with IYR for my SRS. SPG is in a
box, I think if 67 is support.
I am a mac user, but I have a PC labtop for freestockcharts,
Anyone know of a good screen capture program? I am currently using
the 'Snipping Tool'. Are there better programs? TIA
Thanks everyone, I am a mac guy, so I use Shift-Control 4 for my
StockCharts stuff, but I was trying to find something better for
PC, I will check out the suggestions.
mwsnapis a very useful screenshot tool. On
stockcharts youdon't need that, though. Just right click on the
chart, save the image to your hard drive, and upload the .png to
wherever you want to post it.
Use Jing to save your image as a Screencast and then post the
link to it as per below. Or you can use Jing to save the image to
your computer and then browse to it as per the next paragraph. May
want to close Jing when not using it as it is a resource hog.
To post a chart on the blog hit
Post a message, navigate in the browse area to your saved chart and
then select a channel to post. If you are replying then the channel
will be the same one as the message you are replying to.
When posting a link -- enter a key word and
highlight it, click on the "link" icon (looks like a chain), put in
the target URL and under target "Open link in a New
Window" should be chosen automatically. BTW you can check if
someone forgot to do this process when looking at their post
by looking to see if your back arrow on the displayed window is
active -- if it is then use it to get back to the blog or if you
see a conventional looking link in the original post open it using
right click>open in new window.
After posting a chart/link try it and if it doesn't
look right then you can hit edit on your new post
for the next few minutes or if you can't fix it then delete
and start from scratch
