It would be interesting (and possibly a small sign of health)
for gold to decouple from stocks at this point. Sure hasn't been
doing that in the past, but who knows. I've stopped being surprised
at what the markets can do. It's also possible that we have gold
fakeout and a dollar breakout, and then a reversal in gold as
soon as excited speculators and traders come in, or perhaps right
after the dollar breaks out decisively, or perhaps after the market
loses key trendlines, or both. Who knows. We'll see what happens.
It'll be interesting for sure.
