Does anyone know if I can open an account at TradeStation to
trade Matt's EOD mechanical systems, and set it up on my Macintosh
computer at home and/or follow it when I'm away from home on my
iphone.
Hopefully I would be able to set it up so it automatically
trades for me, so I would need to do little else once I have it set
up. Any help or advice appreciated.

Send them an email to ask them. Watch out for monthly fees
if you don't make enough trades. Another autotrade option is
Cool Trade for about $40/month. Cool Trade will work with
other brokers.
to run TS platform you need Windows therefore you need
virtualization software (Parallels or VM sotware) on your Mac
(WinXP will run at native speed on Mac)
I have had my home computer running in MA while I was in Hawaii
using the built-in go to my Mac (OSX leopard) I was able to
run remotely.
to run go to my Mac you need to have a subscription to MobileMe
(by Apple) to manage as a encoded Virtual Private Network.
As far as I know go to my PC will probably work also

I use a PC in the house and I have been using an iphone for about two weeks to trade the mechanical systems when I'm out. The iphone works great.
Why don't you automate them?

I'd have to switch brokers in order to automate. I'm not opposed to doing that but, in the short term, the iphone solved the problem for me.
