I currently have an account at InteractiveBrokers (IB), I am
having problems on charting and save charts.
I am thinking about switch to another broker, I also need a
better way that I can report TAX easily. The following 3 are
popular these days, would like to hear your opition which one would
you prefer? I trade stocks, options, and futures, I only a small
fish, only $50K cash in hand.
yawang36- yes charts on IB suck, do doubt about it. Also, I
really hate how IB does their tax forms, it's been a pain in the
butt every year for me to sort all all the trades and match them,
even if I use a program like Tradelog or Gainskeeper, it's still
many hrs work.
Tradestation has about the best charts I've seen (as far as
capability), and their tax forms and they way they break down their
trades is much eaiser for tax than IB. Plus when you call TS,
they are always happy to talk with you, I've never ever had any
attitude on the phone with the TS people, unlike IB who can be
impatient and downright rude at times.
