I'm using Schwab StreetSmart Pro - I haven't bothered with
setting up SD or Ninja since I'm not a fan of automated trading, at
least not during these whippy times. ;-)

I have a cross at the 3:06 - 3:12 close by .02 re: the MAs in Strategy Desk and .04 in Ninja. Which platform are you looking at?
