SAN DIEGO & MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Illumina,
Inc. (NASDAQ:ILMN) and Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc.
(NASDAQ:PACB) today announced that they have mutually agreed to
terminate their merger agreement, previously announced on
November 1, 2018, under which Illumina would
acquire Pacific Biosciences at a fully diluted enterprise value of
approximately $1.2 billion in an all-cash transaction.

That termination was Jan 2, 2020, even before the "real" pandemic started.
