The S&P 499 followed the S&P  1 ....

    Makes zero sense, but it

Makes zero sense, but it appears that way for now. In the end, they are all doomed to be NVDA customers at insanely high prices which will hit their margins. Buy NVDA chips or get annihilated by your competitors that do. The 499 have increased costs, while the 1 takes over the world.

It's clearly unsustainable because the only way companies can afford to buy as many chips as they need is if they use those chips to reduce headcount.  That game doesn't end all that well...unless you believe in UBI. It's sort of like how Ford created the weekend way back when. You have to have customers and those customers have to have time to shop...or the flywheel stops spinning.

All of this is the result of political greed and buying votes.  Never in history have we paid an entire country not to work, printed and spent nearly 10 trillion dollars, increased the money supply by 25% in a single year.....all with a strong GDP and assets in hyperinflation mode.  To top it off, they passed the CHIPS and Infrastructure bills into a boiling over economy....because NVDA clearly needed the help.  You and I get to pay for it every day.
