I honestly didn't think the Chinese numbers were that bad.
Basically in line with expectations and a big beat on youth
unemployment. The problem is who the data is coming from. If
they say 5.2% GDP and 14% youth unemployment (down from 20+), maybe
it's really 4 and 19? Hard to say. Makes for a tough
investment and/or trade. I bought a few calls but gave myself a few
months to potentially be right (sized it like a lottery
ticket...very small trade).
Less and less reason to subject your company to IP theft and
logistics issues as CCP labor moves up the cost curve.

KWEB
Very weak. That's why I'm looking to play
for a bear trap (if it triggers). I imagine there's as many calls
sold short against KWEB as there are against DAX. It's likely
to squeeze the bears at some point.

If the spin on China turns demonstrably positive (don't hold your breath), this puppy may even be more explosive.
KWEB is a interesting spot.

KWEB is a interesting spot. If it recovers to 25.36 today, my standard bear trap play will trigger. For now it's just making new low after new low.

I'm in FXI. Lumps will be taken short term, but inevitably they will have to stimulate again and again.....sound familiar?
