Moon will be at perigee, its closest to the Earth for this
orbit.
The full Moon after next will be Wednesday night, August 30,
2023, at appearing opposite the Sun (in Earth-based longitude) at
9:36 PM EDT. This full Moon will be the second full Moon in August,
making it a Blue Moon by the newer definition introduced by Sky
& Telescope magazine in 1946.

Yes, sounds like quackery, and which way would you expect it to
turn anyway since it's already turned in both directions? First 5
days of the month are generally positive.
There were several technicians in the 70s and 80s who had many
followers based on full moons and solar activity. Hard to believe
but Arch Crawford was on CNBC often.
