SPY options are my tool of choice to play both the ES and SPY
systems and have been very successful. I also will sell 6 to 8
delta /MES calls and puts as appropriate when a system
triggers.

Options are a viable strategy for large or small accounts.
I have a large account but I use options for the systems
trades. Many times over the last year the $ return and %
return has exceeded owning the underlying.

options are for small accounts or if you cannot stomach volatility on MES. A necessary evil till your account size grows up.
