date and amount have been confirmed. The email directs you to your
inbox on the Treasury Direct website, which gives you the specific
information.
I have been purchasing shorter term TBills to help with
supplementing my Mom's income. The bank was paying her pennies on
what small savings she has and it is a significant difference with
this change. In addition to the interest income, we add to it each
month in helping her out. She receives my Father's social security
(he passed some years ago), though it isn't much with sustained
rising costs. There is another COLA increase coming for social
security as well in the coming year end (Dec 2022), though not
payable for most until January of 2023. It says SSI goes into
effect Dec 30th.
