Since some are interested in historical references - here is an
analog showing 2022 versus 1973 and 2008. Again, my point
being is I could show numerous historical reference points - NONE
of which exactly reflects what is unfolding today. You may
or may not find them useful but what is in your control is to
develop a PLAN that incorporates your investing/trading style and
risk tolerance. In summary, what is important is that
you each take time to organize a plan that suits your
style/approach and risk tolerance. You may or may not
incorporate some of the tools we have taught or from some others.
Use what works for YOU and then take action.
By the way, there are some truly outstanding market timers and
traders that I track/converse with (much better than a
traditional money manager or historical stats guys) as I'm not one
to simply buy and hold (again I have defined my approach and you
should as well - there is NOT one correct approach so it's best to
find your lane). A couple traders happen to be Algo
specialists while another incorporates more that just technical
(much more comprehensive approach which I prefer). Another is
an order flow specialist - he simply studies what moves the market
- order flow and then incorporates rational approach to that data.
