Cutting down short set ups to about 2500 names for tomorrow. I
don’t want to get distracted . Ideally, a green to red move
for new short entries. Trade what's in front of you.
Big load of QQQQ puts below market today (20% below the market)
- see if that provides any support for tomorrow
Hi Steve, I am trying to learn, can you please elaborate your
thought on this? "Big load of QQQQ puts below market today (20%
below the market) - see if that provides any support for
tomorrow".
How do you check puts are 20% below QQQ level?
If it is 20% below, why would that provide support since it is
so far down?

One site which has really helped me a lot is barchart website
for options. It does not give a detailed information about what
kind of transaction is that. You can probably go to Thinkorswim and
see the specific date/option at the end of the day to see what kind
of transaction went through, like Naked or Spreads.

You examine the option chain

You examine the option chain showing various dates and strike prices. Clearly, hedges/bets on puts for protection.
