First thing: I have a conference call this morning at 10:30 with
AAZZF, the company both Steve and I have a large investment in so
I'll be away on that for an hr or so. Steve will be back late this
evening. Also as I commented in the newsletter, I have some
commitments this evening so I may only have time to put out a brief
newsletter
As far as the market ES futures are are basically flat while NQ
(Nasdaq 100 futures) are down 11, so we continue to see weakness in
the QQQ's and big tech
Precious metals gold, silver and GDX are trading up pre
market
Bonds: TLT is down about 50 cents and HYG is down 7 cents
Remember tomorrow morning is the Unemployment Report all eyes on
that.
I wasn't aware that there was an app. It's all handled on the
cart everything, even the scale. You don't even have to manually
scan the items it does so when you place them in the cart.
as far as security it tracks a bunch of stuff - if you are
trying to leave it will lock up the wheels and sound an alarm or
something like that.
The carts are expensive like 7500 a cart but I think the
exciting development there is that quite a few companies have come
forward saying they will pay for the cart for the stores, you will
get coupons automatically show up on the cart to use. I'm not one
who uses coupons, but if it's autoatically given then great, why
not use it, painless.
something like 21 executives from NCR left to go work for AAZZF.
my guess is that NCR may eventually buy them, otherwise AAZZF
could get too large
i heard there was i set in on last conference call asked a few
questions. i hav take off again so wont be around. i know they are
doing this at wholefoods is the word.
