SH vs SPY short -

SH vs SPY short - why so different?  From 7pmSunday to last night bottom SH was a 8.8% gain, but short SPY was only a 2% gain.  Why?  Does anybody know?  SH is not leveraged, it is supposed to be straight inverse.  Anybody have insights into this??  (it is very important to my strategy, and if I understand it better, maybe arbitrage opportunity for all of us)

[I do not mind a little inconsistency, but 4x different!]

[I have one guess, in extended overnight hours, which these both trade, Shorting SPY is not allowed, so hence, in extended hours, it might be "restricted" on the downside....]

Thanks Steve, yes, afterhours they are pretty consistent, but I also trade in Extended Hours.  Agreed, if I do not understand this discrepancy, maybe I should not trade extended overnight hours, but I also work fulltime. . . and overnight is having some of the biggest moves... so it is an important time period.   Any insights or knowledge from anybody on the Inverse EFTs in Extended Overnight hours?
