Is_"Filling-The-Gap"_Possibly_Obsolete for some ETFs?
What is the theory behind it. I recall it being that there
a a number of "left over" and "unfulfilled" buyers and sellers
orders "in the gap" that did not get filled, since it did not trade
all night. So, seems still valid for most stocks. But
for SPY, for example, it trades 24x5 (all night), so does the "fill
the gap" still apply? and... what is the theory behind it?
