RP- here's a few charts, I don't have real time feed for
gold futures symbol @GC so this is delayed. Anyway here's a
chart from Tradestation, I don't see a cup and handle on this time
frame. maybe a abc or 1,2, 1,2 pattern but gold usually
trades in more ABCs. It simply had a basing pattern and
a bottoming pattern has been moving higher. On this
chart notice that once that ATR indicator was broken you can see it
became support and is a good support to monitor going forward. I
use 14/3 settings on that common indicator . Also the Trending MACD
Histogram you can see has generally caught the trend well, from the
downside to the upside.
One the daily Stockcharts $GOLD the MA's have been bullish
stacked. On the weekly Gold has that large saucer bowl type
pattern that I pointed out months ago

are formations no... anyway we took out 1270 on gold the etf's
having problems with mkt tanking again.
