I would be interested to see what percentage of the total trade
volume is carried out by computers rather than human traders. I
suspect the answer would shock many people. If someone told me 90%
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.......

The first and last half-hour of the US trading day now accounts for 39.6 per cent of all volumes, up from 31.5 per cent a decade ago
