I use XIV/SPY divergent model to Spot tops in SPY. it has
short history only going back to 2011 but has been right each of
the past 6 times and currently I am on look out for another signal
as XIV lags SPY break out to new highs. Each time after the
signal SPY has correct to at least its 200 DMA.
