    TLT fakedown. Still no daily

TLT fakedown. Still no daily RSI/MACD divergence. In the current environment, trying to short this could become like trying to be long gold miners last year.

    As with $XEU, this will

As with $XEU, this will be likely news driven and concurrent with a bounce in the indices. EMA(9) must give way first.

    The more these rallies get

The more these rallies get whacked, the higher the risk of a bigger flush out. Not sure why counter-trend is attractive in these conditions.

    TLT is finishing wave 3

TLT is finishing wave 3 up, IMO. Given a present bearish sentiment, it will be a good counter-trend trade but it may come only in March with a bigger sell-off into lower 1700s. FWIW.

    I would sell a flash-crash

Posted by a_l_ on 10th of Feb 2016 at 04:23 pm

I would sell a flash-crash up like we saw in 10/14. Also, we're getting back to all-time high levels here & that could well give a 4th wave. Personally, I've been long so long for macro & technical reasons (just trading around a core position) that there's no way I'm going to short it; but I may go flat on a liquidity event and wait for the next buy set-up.

or set a trailing stop at say a little over 50% of that large weekly candle.

    Thanks, Matt.
