Just got My annual alert for RUT Power Period #3. This is
the longest such period each year. Rut has sold off a lot
going into the period so we are set. I generally play this
using TNA. On the look out for buy trigger which should come
by Friday.

Yes it is a bit early. But a signal is expected to
materialize between now and Friday. Most likely after Option
Expatriation has settled out. Power Period is the strong
seasonal pattern that happens around YE. My trading strategy
around this is simple.
1) look for sell off prior to period. Generally Dec 1 to
15.
2) after 15 look for buy trigger on TNA/IWM.
3) Buy full position on trigger.
4) Evaluate daily. If profit come quickly take half off
target profit is 3 to 5%.
5) sell other half on first market open of new year.
Rut Power period #3 signal has Matured this is causing me to
take another half off my initial position leaving me with 25% of
the original position. Total booked profit is 9%. rest
of the position will now get a Stop loss of 7% allowing me to exit
with at least 9% profit on the entire trade.
taking half off as I have my 5% target profit. The rest
will either ride higher in to the next year or may choose to close
early depending on what I get.
THX for your analysis. I took a quick trade this a.m. as I
bought calls and scalped them for .32 and GONE . Will be watching
for your trigger. The IWM commercials are long but slowly reducing
their large long lately.

It has worked out for me over the years. I have used this
for years having read about it some time back. Results are
good for me. Not an investment its a trade.

TNA has moved up above 71.82. Next candle on 60 min will trigger my entry. for Power trade.
