    I was watching Quicksilver $ZQK

I was watching Quicksilver $ZQK chart for a fundamental reason - it's so badly managed but has such a strong brand loyalty among surfers that a catalyst (takeout, etc.) under $2 was a real possibility. After hours, they announced the departure of a key senior executive. Obviously someone knew that in the past few weeks/days. This was a $9 stock not too long ago with turnaround prospects. Now we'll see how far it can recover.

Bottom line - the chart anticipated the news.

    Quicksilver held its gains through

Quicksilver held its gains through the past two days, which is constructive (sellers did not sell the news). But volume hasn't come in yet on the buy side; watchin for that. Holding above 9MA now; last move above 9 had legs.

    Quicksilver continues to be constructive

Quicksilver continues to be constructive on price & momentum, holding above 9MA for a week and working above 20MA now. Volume has yet to come in on the buy side, but sellers are no longer hitting it on bounces. With some buyers, challenging the 50MA and getting into gap above are the next steps.

Yes, very meaningful, but wouldn't have seen it if it weren't for your post.  Thanks for noting the chart.

    You're welcome, gezac.
