XLE - Chart Link - well I"m sure some of you were sweating the XLE/OIH swing system today but you probably are not now!  Nice reversal of course - the XLE system went short last Wednesday at the close.  I personally shorted OIH however.  The previous trade to the system, was a long on Jan 4th, which went to cash on Jan 30th, that was the first live trade to the system, this is the second live trade - everything else of course is historical

Here's the trade statistics - all trades dates are the same.  100K was used for each trade and no compounding was used to keep things simple.

here's some charts showing trades of the OIH/XLE BPENER system

    regarding the XLE and BPENER

regarding the XLE and BPENER system, one thing that I would eventually like to do is create a similar swing system for the SPY based on the BPSPX and use most of the same rules from the XLE system; looking at the chart that SPY swing system would have shorted today and it would have been long since Nov 23rd.  Again that will take some time for me to create  but that is one of my goals.

I finally put the BPENER XLE system into the 'Mechanical Systems' section of the website, however I still have work to do on that page i.e. adding more text, statistics, chart examples etc.

Matt - check out the weekly bpener macd

I don't see what you are saying roger - I don't see weekly divergence on the BPENER and MACD - post a chart.  Divergence between the BPENER and XLE price, yes, but not the MACD and BPENER

    I think roger is referring

I think roger is referring to a chart of the $bpener itself...macd is lagging on weekly time frame for sure

I will be very happy when I can trade GDX XLE and the SPY using this system.
