carlhoot- you positioned simply on that? on a 1/2 trading holiday?

plus SPX is only up 6 points, it's not running away, you can't be down much unless you extended yourself on margin which we always advise against.  Do you position short today or yesterday.   Plus I don't think taking a shot today as a short is bad call, but you can't be down that much on it, the market isn't up that much

Now do I think a pullback will come, probably and maybe this week, would not surprise me, but a lot of news this week, news out of Europe on Thur and of course Jobs data on Friday

    Can't remember who said it

Can't remember who said it here but it's one of the best lines I've heard in awhile.  "Don't short a dull market".   These 'holiday' weeks are always like this.   Gradual boring march up.  Suicide to short.   Monday you might be right but it always feels bad to short into these.  You get no relief and they usually high close them.

You Yanks enjoy your day off - up here in the Great White North we get to trade tomorrow, eh.

Hey Matt - no margin, not down - considerably

just hard to see everything green and me red Cry I began a little yesterday added to it some more today about 40-50% of a position.  Tempted to add into the close but don't want to be caught with my pants down on Thursday and jobs friday....
