Strange events today in foreign markets. Despite the
strong rally in oil and strong recovery in copper, both Australia
and Canada were hammered (down 3.56% and 1.93% respectively).
Anybody have any thoughts on that? Interesting: today's
last hour rally mostly hit the US markets; and I haven't heard
anybody crying "manipulation" or "PPT".

Hi Kalimn,
The canadian market is very vulnerable to fluctuations in the
natural ressources. With the drop in gold and other commodities
today the TSX was hit strongly. Investors didn't take too much
seriously news that China would buy Italian bonds and thus the last
hour rally on the US markets didn't reflect on the canadian
exchanges.
