I understand how something like this could happen and best wishes
on adding some rule(s) which would mitigate this happenning again
to this extent.
However, we shall see how the trade ends up. Hopefully, we will
get a bounc to mitigate some of our losses at the very least.
It does not look likely the current trade will be a winner.
The system will likely sell on an oversold bounce.
Matt is considering adding to the system some kind of protection
from really bad trades (like this one may end up being). This
could either be a stop loss or penetration of a long-term moving
average by a certain percent or something else. However this
will require extensive testing to make sure it doesn't negatively
impact the system too much. There have been a number of very
good trades in the past that have endured significant
draw-downs.
Matt is "beside himself" feeling bad about the current trade.
Obviously, he can't cover subscribers' losses, but he would
like to do something - just not sure what - give us some free
subscription time or something - he hasn't decided.
