With all due respect to the 'system', todays action has broken
through two very serious lines of support. The "triangle" appears
to be gone and the trend line from the March 2nd, 2009 market low
is gone too. There isn't much floor left for support. Are we sure
about this 'long' poistion?
Lost 1250. Ouch. This seems like 2008/2009.
Hope it is more like March 2009 low. My body is drenched in
red ink. Wife threatening divorce, dog growling....LOL
As far as I'm concerned, a system has to be trusted until it
proves to no longer work. What might be worrisome about the SPY
system is if its performance since going live starts to be worse
than during its backtested period. Until that happens, no
meaningful information can be culled from a couple of trades.
However, as I've said in the past, it is not a good idea to take
backtested results as if they indicate the true value of the
system. We will have to get extensive realtime results before
we can evaluate the system.
SPY LONG???

perspective folks....initial signal is only down "3.6%"....if we lose 1250 that would be worrisome...until we do don't worry....
