Something is not right with this QE3 announcement. And
yes, with the way the market is pricing in QE3, Bernanke's comments
today were as good as an official announcement. Copper is
flat on the day..... very ominous. I realize one day does not
a trend make.... but last year when QE2 was announced, copper took
off like a raped ape.
First one resulted in a 25 minute short squeeze.... looks like
the second one might have resulted in a 70 minute short squeeze....
QE3 doesn't look to be doing the trick so far (although this rally
isn't neccesarily over yet).

yep- it was late August 2010-QE 2 announcement- really meant to buy time for US & households to delevrage.
Also--we still have debt ceiling issues that factor into the game here.
