Matt, if I choose to hold this trade, the problem I see is that
there is now no way to know when to exit, since the system itself
is not in a trade, right? Or is there some way for you to do a
"mock" trade in the system at this price and give a sell
signal?
Thanks for any info on how to manage the trade beyond just
cashing immediately back out, if it's possible. I bought for my IRA
and selling immediately will mean that for the next three or four
trading days I'm locked out of that money, and can't enter a trade
if SPY does go long tomorrow, the next day, etc.
frtaylor, I know you asked Matt, but I just wanted to share that
although it sucks to be locked out of your funds, that in and of
itself is not a reason to hold. I've learned this painful lesson a
few times :-)
