Chris - thanks for the post.  The practice of Naked Shorting is becoming a major concern of mine.  This simply cannot stand - the growth of America resides with small companies and unfortunately these are the prime targets of Naked Short Sellers.   Please realize that I have no problem with shorting when they are able to deliver the shares.  This is being done in a stealth manner by many players all over the world and until someone is prosecuted to the fullest extent this practice will continue.  The big brokerages are heavily involved in this scheme and I will rejoice when they are finally brought to justice.
