Yes, just be aware that the refiners get squeezed when the price of the raw product is high.

    Correct, unless they have hedged

Correct, unless they have hedged on future product deliveries. These are all factors one must be aware of when trading specific companies.

Keep in mind that March 4, 2011   is an "eleven day".....  Nothing good in history happens on an 11 day.      You can google it... pretty scary stuff. Surprised

My advice is too quick trying to pick tops and wait for the trend to change before getting aggressive on shorts.

    ERY

Posted by zach06 on 3rd of Mar 2011 at 08:10 am

I haven't used it in a while....but REING   is the underlying for DIG and DUG... it should work for  ERY and ERX

You can go to the company website for ERX and ERY and look up whe underlying that they base it off of....or at least adjust to at the end of the day.    Doubles and triples are tricky.    The company that  invented them isn't going to lose money..so they tend to lose value no matter what.

hallo, what do you mean whith

    hallo,

what do you mean whith REING ?

    REING

Posted by zach06 on 3rd of Mar 2011 at 09:24 am

REING was the underlying For dig and dug... Let me check if it still is in existance.  I haven't used it for awile.... but I used to trade DIG and DUG using that underlying.     Most of the companies that do the double and triple ETF's  tell you what the underlying is on their websites.     Proshares,   Blackrock....  whoever.

    REING

I guess they discontinued it.... You can still look up on the sites to see what the underlying is for the doubles and triples.
