Computer Virus Question

Posted by oops1e on 17th of Feb 2011 at 09:26 am

I think I may have picked up a virus or malware.  The symptoms consist of web pages jumping to some random new page while loading, opening of another window with a random page, or not being able to load a page (or going somewhere else) after clicking on a google search.  It doesn't seem very malicious, but it is very annoying as I'll be reading an article and get jumped to a new page.  I've tried Norton and Webroot, but neither have solved the problem.

Any computer geeks here with advice??  TIA

    Try malwarebytes.

You can download a free version of Super Anti Spyware from this website, then run the "complete scan" it may fix your problems. If not I have more suggestions but this is free and may work.
