IB's TWS has the capability of setting defaults for your trades,
say you want to trade $10,000 everytime you click the Buy button.
You can 'configure' those settings for each type of security
(Stocks, Futures, Options, etc). Your Market On Close order needs
to be engaged by at least 20min before the close to be effective.
So, you can set the defaults and it will calculate the number of
shares you want, then it will populate the share size and then just
select the MOC order type and you have a complete order.
