Not really, the Fire Island lighthouse has black and white strips that go all around the lighthouse alternating.
Where are you from? I grew up in Babylon.
No, it's Cape Lookout, NC, the diamond pattern lighthouse is for Diamond City which was the name of a whaling village there about 150 years ago.
