good trade. But it also has a great deal to do with your risk reward tolerance and the size of your trade.

There is a gap around $8 and it might work its way up there if the markets keep going up.

on the other hand if you position was fairly large you got out with a good profit that could turn into a big loss quickly if the market decides to hiccup.

    Thanks, Palladin. Although I came

Thanks, Palladin. Although I came out ahead last year overall (my first year trading), I lost a lot of what I had gained through another stock service where I tried to learn to scalp (tradestocksamerica.com - argh!). I've been very risk averse since then, always worrying about getting in a losing trade. Been trying to find my sea legs here at BPT. It's been a very good move for me.

    been there, done that this

No idea on the fundamentals or news stories, etc. For me it was a simple technical trade.

    Does the fundamentals matter?

of course it matters! It might not matter as much when it comes to indexes and ETFs but individual stocks can have BIG swings based on fundamentals (earnings, discoveries, buyouts etc.)

The stock market does not live or die by TA alone!
