IMHO SPX 1063-1070 is ress. area. If we go up pass SPX1070
and hold it then rally might have some legs ... I went short
yesterday when SPX hit 1055. Stops above 1070 area

Sue2, you can use conditional orders on underlying stock or even
normal stop loss orders on options. The web interface is slightly
different for different brokers. You can check it out on your
broker site or just call them up.
But I have found its not good to use stop loss on options.
thanks for the information. I know you can put in a sell
order at a certain price if it drops to that level, but was
thinking of stop losses like with stocks when you enter the
trade. Is the blog broken, hardly any posts in over 20
minutes? Either everyone's glued to the market or taking a
lunch break.

Just a mental stop? thought there otherwise isn't a way to put stops on options like with stocks.
