What does it cost per contact for e-mini future
contact? Can anyone explain to me how price works as I
see they trade on .25 range per contact. Is it one flat price
..
For example - I buy at 1078.50 one contact what does it cost me
etc.

One ES (SPX) point is $50. The ES trades in .25 increments
or $12.50 per tick. So if you make 10 points with 1 contract, you
made $50 X 10pts = $500.00. My post yesterday explains a bit
more.
Depends on broker. Typically $1-$3 per contract for commissions.
You make or lose $12.50 for every 0.25 move in futures so $50 for
every full point move in futures. Spread typically 0.25 points.
Hope this helps
