Today the BPGDM system technically gave a buy signal and covered
the short that it entered on May 19th for only a
-0.7% loss(see the attached table)
. Today at the close the BPGDM GDX swing
trade system goes on a buy at the GDX closing price of
49.81.
I'm not in love with this buy signal based on the 60 min chart,
but this is a system (not based on my subjective analysis or
thoughts, I'm just reporting what the system is doing, you can
chose to do it or not, but if you do this trade, you will need to
enter the trade after hrs or if you can get a better price
tomorrow.
again I apologize that I didn't post this before the close, I
had a brain fart, it was easy to calculate what the 8 day MA would
be intra day, you just take the current date and the last 7 days,
add them up and get an average lol. Anyway going forward this
obviously won't be an issue.
The

Matt - can you please clarify... is the GDX on a buy today? As I look at the $BPGDM, it has yet to cross the 8 ema????

It crossed for a buy signal at close yesterday. Also, it uses a MA and not a EMA.

The 60p Stochs on the 60min chart just broke below 80 giving a sell signal if it holds this hour.
