are you sure that you are not playing the same game.  as they said earlier the market may not go down until you sell your shorts.  It is not imperative to caatch the start of every move.  You are obviously needing a porlonged downslide to get even so if you miss the start it shouldn't be too bad.  Look how much it has cost to stay in against the current.  that is marrying the position,  I did it too and it really hurt so now I will wait for some solid ground and sacrifice the first change in direction. 

I bailed out about 6 days ago  Just listen to matt and do not get married to a position  it can be very deadly

What do you do with a position like this when a major shareholder sells everything?

a poll would give people the chance to rationalize their feelings. Just quantify the rants and raves as they occur. i am sure your casual observations will be confirmed with statistical exactitude
