Nice Sell - I did the same

BITW was already way over priced and on some platforms popped close to $200 this morning and then dropped as low as $80 from what I saw.  I really don't understand it but apparently NAV for accredited investors was like ~$20 yesterday (but I think with a 6 month lock in) so it was just retail investors driving up price.

SPACS - anyone investing in these?

I'm wondering what your strategy is:  buying Units, Shares, Warrants, or all three?  Trading when merger announced and then when date is announced and the timing of your trades?  I am either looking at or in the following: SHLL, SPAQ, GRAF, CCH, SOAH, JWS, TRNE.  Also just announced but can't find symbol yet, SNPR.

Where do you get the information on insider buying?  Is this publicly available (and timely) or do you have to subscribe to a service.  This seems to be great information.

Just to be clear so those who don't know, this is not an ETF or stock that tracks Bitcoin.  It is a company that develops digital currencies.  Therefore, with all Crytos going up after the 1Aug Bitcoin event, this stock was poised to breakout (especially with that pattern).  You can purchase Bitcoin itself, but in my opinion, ETH is the crypto that has more potential in the near and long term - the blockchain technology is starting to be used by large companies for solutions.  Others may have opinions about others like MKR,... so this isn't saying those others have great potential also...

Has anyone done any recent technical analysis on MRK (and the sector based on Trump and the whole market) that they would be willing to share?  I have MRK stock options that will expire in 1 year at strike ~$40 (and others that expire in 2 years at ~$24) and am trying to time it as best as I can.  I don't need the $ right away but do not want to wait until MRK goes down and me be forced to take a much lower price.  I want to sell the first lot (don't need to worry about the 2nd lot that expire in 2 years) between now and the end of the year - I was thinking about selling 1/3 now, then the other 2/3 based on where things go.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

For those who may still be holding DUST and/or other inverse gold ETFs, do you plan to hold through the FOMC meeting?  I've lightened up because I had a lot and I wanted to lock in profits, but I'm not sure if I want to hold through the volatility.  I believe that gold stocks will continue to drop before bottoming, but there will definitely be some bounces and the FOMC may cause a big bounce (or big drop).

I bought some on Friday/Monday/Tuesday and some more today.  I'm done since at this time I have as much as I'd like to buy.  Average trade is green so far, but I won't hold too long - we'll see, but today's action will be very telling in my opinion.

Mike, thanks for your comments last month, they helped me decide to hold and IL broke out of that 5.5-7.0 range and now has found resistance near 10.0.  I sold 1/3 when it first hit 10 but I am holding 2/3 because it looks like it has more upside potential.  I am seeing a bull flag and next resistance ~12, then none until the 16-18 range.  It can't just continue to go straight up to those levels like it has done over the last few weeks, but I think it has potential - although a big market pullback could drag it down.  Can you please comment on the near-term and longer term potential/options?

IL was an old Trade Idea and never broke out.  It has been in a base for ~1-1/2 years and finally looks like it is breaking out.  Can anyone take a look and comment on short-term / long-term targets?

I am looking to sell shares that I recieved (yearly RSU grant) in the next month.  I've never posted a chart so I'm not sure how (sorry).  I'm looking at opinions in terms of direction/targets in 1 day-4 weeks.  I don't expect to sell at the high, but I don't want to sell too quick if it looks like the stock may continue back up.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

I bought GPRE towards the end of Oct while consolidating, then had a monster gain of ~30% in 1 day at the end of Oct.  I sold 1/2, but held the other 1/2.  It's now been consolidating for 3 months and I thought it would have broken out by now.  I'm debating on holding for that breakout or just selling and moving on.  If I hold any longer, I'm afraid it may drop hard when the market pulls back soon (if/when).  Anyone else holding this?  Any opinions/suggestions?  Thanks!

Thanks Steve.  Do you have any short term (days/weeks) and/or longer term (months/year or 2) projections for MRK?  I have a lot of MRK stock (and options) and have been trying to update my plans for selling/excersizing.  any information would be appreciated.

I know NEWN popped yesterday (trade idea on blog), then fell way back down, but now it looks like it is at support.  I'm thinking of buying here, with a tight stop for another pop up if the market can hold up.  Does anyone have opinions in terms of where it may go from here short-term? 

From Trade Ideas - picked up a little on pullback to 200 MA yesterday (~11.8).  Low-risk trade within the pattern.  Probably will sell well before the breakout at 13 for a short-term trade.  Wondering if anyone has opinions on this one short-term?  Thanks.

Anyone have comments on this one.  It was in Monday's newsletter as a trade idea with resistance ~6.0.  I liked the looks of it yesterday so took some early ~5.5.  After the close it was up in after-hours and now in pre-market it is up ~4% to 5.75. 

Does anyone have any strong opinions of Nat Gas stocks in the near-term?  I was accumulating in Q410 thinking they would take off soon since they had been depressed and basing for so long.  I remember others (including RANK10 a lot) may have been doing the same.  Some of the real small ones have gone up significantly, but the larger ones have not moved much.  Here are some of the ones I still own: AGL,ASX,BTR,CGP,ECA,GMR,OSU,PMT,RPG,SCP,THM,WGL.  Thanks in advance to any suggestions/comments.

Yes, I had seen that yesterday, therefore I had shorted it at the top - I just covered for a nice gain.  Even though  expected to drop from the top of the wedge, I didn't expect that type of free fall today with the market going up.  I assumed that some news must have come out.
