The two shipping indices are completely different. Baltic covers
shipments of commodities in the Pacific area, the Harpex covers
shipments of containers in the N. Atlantic. Each can be influenced
by a different set of factors. The Baltic may be depressed right
now because of the delivery of a lot of new shipping capacity.

I think we may be seeing the first signs of a possible viable
3rd party. I am so sick of this 2 party system.
The major thing I took away from the MA election is hope. When
the people of a state like MA are fed up with politics as usual to
the extent they vote in a Republican, that tells me something.
It tells me that both the Democratic and
Republican
partiesare in deep trouble with the voters in our country.
It tells me that the voters are tired of the vote buying that
goes on in Washington at the expense of the taxpayers.
It tells me that the
Wall Street
investment bankersand the heads of big banks in general are
seen for what they are. Greedy, selfish, lying, cheating filthy
animals.
It tells me I need to send a donation to the
Ron Paulcampaign and cast my vote for him in the upcoming
election. One step at a time is the way we will regain control of
this country.
