Buy on MACD positive cross, Short when the line crosses
positive. Market guy, I was bearish for a while like yourself and
got crushed believing in most of the economist which were not
buying the coolade. They were right, however this chart shows that
they were far too early. Best now to listen to the charts, and to
consider what the economists are thinking for future reference.
This chart should help. Best of luck to all. Steve and Matt are
pro's when it comes to technical analysis!
I was measuring the same thing but did not go back that far.
Interesting to see how this plays out now. I haven't seen the 5-3
NYSE Summation Index diverge for this long at any point!
Hmmm...
Again, thanks for all of your posts. I've been out of the game
for a few weeks due to work. The EMA's are very similar to 13-34
based on a daily chart.
Oddly enough it looks as if the summation charts are
nearing overbought territory. Are we psyching ourselves out with
all of this Prechter babble?

I'm going to stick my neck out on the line and say we crash and
burn next few days, Like Joe Namath predicting a win at the Super
Bowl!!! See you guy's at the finish line! Hopefully you'll all be
there with me!

He had nothing to say, because there is nothing left to do! For
crying out loud, just let the markets fail naturally, quit printing
money, and let us clear out the smoke already. We (the markets)
would already be correcting if those idiots had not tried to
intervine!

Great, I'll help,
Everyone go short till the summation 5-3 stochastic setting
goes positive, then go long. That should last for 3 weeks to a few
months. Now Matt go to work, I can only imagine the long term
charts getting better! Fantastic!
