Hey Matt -- no, I hadn't noticed it yesterday, but yes, now that
you point it out, I do see it. What's cool about this tool is that
you can use it as intended, for quick trades -- but you can also
use it to find an entry at times for longer term trades. Like in
this case I've been stalking KRE looking for an entry and when it
took out the LOD and kicked back I was watching the STos and sure
enough, boom, there it was.
I'm going it be using it more and more. Something about the 10
period seems to be almost magic right now :-)
And yeah, the banks don't like these low rates -- if the market
is turning then maybe we can thank the financials. One of my
favorite short sectors right now.
I agree -- I have a hard time trading the thinner leveraged ETFs
that trade with big spreads -- don't use them much -- too hard to
control risk tightly without getting shaken out
The Qs are beginning to look like they're printing a small
shooting star, while SPY and IWM nice dojis at resistance. With
everything overbought and stretched, starting to wonder if we might
be setting up Evening Stars...All we need is a gap and crap
tomorrow...
Matt - thanks for posting this -- I have come to really like
this trade but I never thought to look for it on the one minute
chart -- I will in the future!

I just checked and 11:15 was also the exact bottom in Crude but
it didn't really take off until about an hour and a half later. I
still haven't seen any particular news associated with the point at
which it really took off.
Huh, yesterday there was an article in the Journal suggesting
that it would be a good idea for the BOJ to buy oil (I'm not making
this up!). The notion was that it would raise inflation in Japan! I
thought that maybe the BOJ should just buy Sake!

Thanks Steve. It feels like the financials are leading the way down -- the broke the LODs a few candles before the rest of the market.

DAX up over 3%, reversal here unlikely

When the DAX is up big like this the odds that we reverse are pretty small. Likely a trend day.
HYG looks likely to close at new recovery highs

Maybe Draghi will buy busted oil company paper.
Will today be remembered at the day that the Central Banks lost control of the markets?
