SPX 10

SPX 10 Channel

Why would breaking out of the channel be a Short Term positive.  Have you traded your pen for Pom-Pom's to make the CNBC cheerleading team.

Two things stand out in my mind for that August date:  First, August 17th, 1987 was the beginning of the twenty-five year Harmonic Convergence; Second, the Japanese Market

made its all time high on August 24, 1987 as I remember.

Perhaps you were thinking of Rudolf the Red?  Well, you see, Rudolf was taking a stroll with his wife of 30 years at red Square when little Mishna said "It is starting to rain".

Ruldolf replied: "Rudolf the Red knows rain dear.

Bang!!

In the Fifties and Sixties, the radio announcer used to have the ballplayer of the game come by to talk at the conclusion of the game.  Well, one time Yogi Berra was the choice.  At that time the player was given a check for fifty dollars for so doing, a priceless sum at that time.  The method of payment was by check with the payee being "Bearer", a term of art from the banking industry.  So after the show and having been presented his check, Yogi said "Hey, you spelled my name wrong".  Priceless.

MRO

This AM, I read an article relative to Marathon Oil wherein it announced a natural gas discovery whereby the new well flowed at an initial rate of 5.2 million cubic feet of gas per day!  Being a good boy, I then looked at its chart.  To my untrained eye, I see an inverse two left shoulders, a head, a right shoulder and a cup.  Could someone  please comment on this stock.
