announced it would buy
IdentixPharmaceuticals (IDIX) for a mind-blowing
premium of 229%, at $24.50, or 3x the Friday price. IDIX has an
experimental Hepatitis C drug, which is why the top Hep C therapy
maker, Gilead Sciences (GILD), turned pale today, falling
4%.
