Refresh my memory. Is there a problem using the latest
Tradestation (8.7) when trading the 7 minute FAZ system? I
remember something about a problem using pivots with the 8.7.
My trades don't quite match the web site.
Last time I stopped trading the SRS when it was whipsawing, it
was down 12% last month. Of course when I stopped trading, it
recovered and was up 2% for the month! So I keep taking my
lashes!
I have the same setup with IB and NT. The only chart that
I can get the NT to show is the SRS. I have been using NT to
automatically enter and exit longs and shorts with no problems
adapting the SMA crossover strategy to an EMA crossover.
I gave up getting charts on the other ETF's. I'm thinking
that IB can't be bothered with such small ETF's. If you
decide to call them, let me know how you made out!
By the way, the system is working great with the SRS! Hope

Do the swing systems use 24 hour data and make trades during that time or just restricted to 9:30-4:00?

The SRS15 minute EOD is killing me! Yesterday was a disaster. Now I understand the term "Whipsaw"!
Today doesn't seem to be going much better. Larry Williams once said "follow the system and it will come around your way".....I hope he's right.
