EBR is the largest elec utlility in Brazil eps out today,
this is govt controlled utility but today announced they will
pay the dividend and an expansion plan , i think this was a
cloud over stock, lots of air above,,,,,, for
watchlist
this was almost a textbook example of running the stops this
morning all the way through the 9 20
50 and stopping at the 89, crazy trades
maybe some lockups expired from the ipo and GS needed to book
a nice trading profit :-0,
with the long bond taking it on the chin dwn over a point today,
maybe the complacency surrounding the dividends trade could
begin an unwind, impetus for a correction ?
just an observation,,,,,,,long the uvxy as a hedge
here,
just a thought on these if i am looking to trade the uvxy
i always watch the action in the index spvxsp, as a
guide looking at todays action uvxy is at a premium to
the index decline, this has saved me from poor entries on
this several times,
fwiw
uvxy
The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, twice the
return of the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures index for a single
day
normally don t post fluff, but figured we could use a
chuckle for the long weekend, this type of stuff always
reminds me of an imminent top in the markets, i still have
the issue of forbes with the teenager day trader on the cover circa
2000
Rachel Fox isn’t an ordinary 16-year-old. She's already graduated
from High School and has been a working Hollywood actress for
years, appearing in shows like Desperate Housewives as evil Kayla
Scavo and in the film Dream House with Daniel Craig and Naomi
Watts. When she’s not on set she can often be found on stage,
singing and playing guitar in an indie rock band
That would be a packed schedule for most of us, but Rachel has
another activity that’s a real passion. For the last
year-and-a-half she’s been actively day-trading stocks with her own
money. She says she's been racking up stellar returns, claiming a
30.4% gain in 2012, versus the benchmark S&P 500 which gained
13% for last year.
