I guess the fundamental price of $gold is decided by $TLT(interest rate) and $CRB(commodity price, inflation rate)?

$SPX tests the low pushed down by 20 dsma on 1987 bear market.

This time $SPX already on 20 dsma and it moving up. 

So I guess 1987 is not appropriate this time.

What you need is just to look the price move of copper on bear market, recession.

Sometimes it leads, sometimes it doesn't.
