Here's something to chew on:
blog post on ETF short interest. This
information gives me pause, because it seems to promise vicious
short squeezes, even in an overall declining market.
Anyone care to comment, or have any historical perspective to
contribute? Are short interest levels like these consistent with
the trend change that we currently think we are seeing?

I'm also having problems. Sound is fine, but only the first
slide (market reports) displays properly. When matt starts
discussing the first chart, parts of the chart appear where the
cursor travels, but the image is all garbled.
I've been able to watch other video presentations in the past,
so I don't think it's a problem on my side.
Hope this won't spoil your night, Matt.

Alarming ETF short interest

The source appears to be bloomberg, via a report entitled "US ETF Snapshot: October 2009" at this link.
Yes, they may be hedges, but these are not options. At some point the hedges will be unwound, adding to buying pressure, no?

I got sound, but poor quality, with lots of buzz and hiss. Also matt's video update late last week was unwatchable (though the sound was fine).
