if you were long as of the close yesterday and held overnight, then you get the dividend. today it trades without the divedend, hence "ex". would suck if you took a whack like that and didn't get the dividend!! if you sell it today you still get the dividend since you will be holder of record.

which chart services will do a 6 minute chart? I have stock charts and I don't see that option. Is there an upgrade? Thanks

Can anyone reccomend an online broker that has some real customer service. I tried to set up an etrade account for a family member with nightmarish results. 3 weeks later we are wiring the cash back to the bank and looking for a service oriented firm. (had problems with faxing legible id due to patriot act, no call backs, etc. what a disaster etrade is). Mobile order entry a plus.

one question. I have the 9 and 39 crossing around 11am for a short sell on the 15 min chart. are you using different paramaters when your charts are showing the cross just before the close?

nice move today. broke descending triangle on 15 min chart along with a 16/34 cross mid day. Obama tomorrow and energy stocks melt!! anyone???....Bueller???

Does the 16/34 system have a time limit where it won't initate a trade within 15-20 minutes before the close? If so, can that be entered into the brokers order entry? Sorry- if you've gone over this already.

Is Ninja trader a brokerage platform where you set up an account? What about access, I see that etrade allows you to enter orders via blackberry, is that sophisticated enough to handle this type of setup?
